The Charter, in Brief

What the founding document establishes — and how everything else takes its authority from it.

In brief

  • The Charter establishes SASENI and defines the mandate under which it governs the economy.
  • S₵, S4 and SSI™ take their authority from that mandate; none stands alone.
  • Where this summary and the Charter differ, the Charter governs.

The Sanaa Sanifu Charter is the founding instrument of the Sanaa Sanifu Economy. It establishes SASENI — the Sanaa Sanifu Economic Network & Institution — and defines the mandate under which SASENI governs and stewards the economy.

Every other part of the architecture takes its authority from that mandate. S₵, the monetary system, defines verified value and governs how Sanaa Credits are issued. S4, the financial platform, executes and settles that monetary system. SSI™, the economic intelligence system, measures the economy that results. None of the three is free-standing; each answers to the institution the Charter creates.

The Charter begins from a single principle: verified creative production is economic production. Work that has been verified is not a cultural afterthought to the ‘real’ economy. It is output, and it deserves the same institutional seriousness — recognition, exchange, measurement and growth — that other forms of production take for granted.

This summary is an orientation, not a substitute. Where it and the Charter differ, the Charter governs. The full text, together with the governance documents, frameworks and institutional standards that sit beneath it, is published in the Charter & Corpus collection as each document is released.

No. It establishes SASENI, the institution that governs the economy. The Sanaa Sanifu Bank is envisioned as a long-term destination, to be considered once the economy has matured.

The full Charter is held in the Corpus. Until it is published on this site, you can ask the secretariat for it through the contact form.
